Mr. Darcy's name is Fitzwilliam and so is Colonel Fitzwilliam?

Just wondering, but how does Elizabeth Bennet's husband, Mr. Darcy, have the same first and last name as his cousin Colonel Fitzwillism? Isn't that kind of weird. It doesn't mention anywhere about Elizabeth's husband being a Fitzwilliam Jr. or anything...
